Pain

I believe pain will end,
Where it did begin
But, pain is forever
A permenant friend
It leaves us there crying
No comfort or gain
As I lay dying dying
Calling her name
Pain, oh what a wonderful word
But so ironic,
For pain is absurd
It lives within us
For our names have been called
And now heard,
We have all tried to run
And cover the feeling
Of pain, O such pain
We sometimes wonder how we are dealing
So we stop to think,
And uncover the facts
That pain has now left us
Feeling open and black
Pain is something we all did create
And pain within us is something,
Concrete, in state
We must all face it
Our one truest fear
It is pain that drives
Each consecutive year
